#1 Service booking backtracking

One of the major causes of budget blowouts is to not have a detailed plan. Whether it's underbooking, overbooking, giving inaccurate details, negotiating a based package not knowing additional fees etc. the list is endless. When you leave the house and go to work, it takes ten minutes. But on a wedding day, a punctual couple with suitcases, flowers, bridal party, packing things into the car... what takes ten minutes take at least half an hour.

What about this: A wedding planner books an accommodation room on the tenth floor for a couple, and the hotel gives a free upgrade to Level 50 and the couple takes it. It's a Saturday morning at 10am, checkout time chaos in a very high building with not enough lifts. The entire day is an hour late.

A decision that looks perfectly reasonable by itself can create additional costs or practical problems somewhere else.

Many couples think if you write down a time on a sheet of paper, things will run. Many brides say, "We will be strict with the timing", but when you have a group of people all walking towards the ceremony, you practically can't be walking down the aisle at the same time. The Wedding Planning Trial is a unique, detailed personal consultation tailored to your wedding needs that goes for 90 minutes.

1. WE MAP OUT YOUR ENTIRE WEDDING DAY
We are not just helping you put together a runsheet. We are helping you defog your wedding day vision, and help you visualise your wedding day on an hour-by-hour basis, so that you know exactly what happens, where you would be, how these people got here, and what you need.

2. WE WORK OUT WHAT YOUR REQUIREMENTS ARE
After we find out exactly your wedding day vision, now we can get to specifics. This is when we need to know the exact requirements that you must give your suppliers such as what time makeup artists have to finish, and how many hours your photographers are needed for. We also identify potential pressure points where one delay or decision could affect something else.

3. CLEAR BUDGETS AND COST OUTLINE
Our plan and proposal. After highlighting the above, we will have a working plan and we will show you exactly how much a wedding with all your required elements should cost if you're on one of our packages. Note: there is no requirement for you to use our packages at this meeting.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER?
This meeting is free, pressure free and obligation free. You are not required to book any services with us after. You will NOT be asked to make any decisions about the package on the day. If you wish, we can book in a reviews meeting to discuss your thoughts after the meeting.
