WHAT WE REALLY THINK ABOUT THIS VENUE
Event Weddings has been planning weddings at Deckhouse since 2015. This venue is part of the famous Dedes restaurant group well known for satisfying Modern Australian style catering with Greek-Italian heritage. Positioned next to the waters at Woolwich, our client like that this venue has views of the harbour bridge and the city skyline in a secluded area. The venue is perfect for weddings for those with privacy in mind, with exclusive-use of the space on weeknights. For afternoon events the venue may be split into three sections and is suitable for events as little as 40 guests. Adjacent to the building is Clarke Point Reserve where we hold most off-site ceremonies, making this a convenient location for ceremonies, receptions and on-site location shoots. There is a large parking area at the park for driving guests. We rate the food at this venue as comparing favourably to similar venues in the same class. In consideration of having full venue access for dinner events and its flexibility of lower guest numbers for lunches, the price is very reasonable when comparing with similar venues, and some of our couples also found their package options to be more flexible than other similar venues. Overall this is a very well-presented venue with good food, good views and a secluded vibe at reasonable rates.
